Publish a Claude artifact as your own link
Two ways to get a Claude artifact onto a link you control. Manual: copy the artifact code, save it as an .html file, drop it here. Connected: add the reshare connector to Claude once, then say "publish this as a link" and Claude does it, right in the chat. Either way you get a permanent URL on link.reshare.one, free.
Drop the artifact HTML
Free. Sign in with Google and your link is ready in seconds.
How it works
- 01
Get the HTML out
In the artifact panel, copy the code and save it as page.html. Claude builds artifacts as single files, which is exactly what reshare hosts.
- 02
Drop it above
Sign in with Google and the upload finishes on its own.
- 03
Or skip both steps
Connect the reshare MCP in Claude settings and ask Claude to publish. The link comes back in the conversation.
Claude's Publish button vs your own link
| reshare | Claude Publish | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the page lives | link.reshare.one, a neutral link you control from your dashboard. | On claude.ai. No custom domain option is documented. |
| Unpublishing | Delete or replace the upload any time. Re-publish whenever you like. | Permanent: "Once you unpublish an artifact, you cannot publish that same artifact again." (Anthropic help center) |
| Team and Enterprise accounts | Publishing works the same on any account. | Artifacts on Team or Enterprise accounts cannot be published publicly at all. |
| Your own HTML file | Upload any .html file, whoever wrote it. | Publish applies only to artifacts Claude created in a conversation. |

When Claude's own button is enough
If you just want a friend to see the thing, Publish inside Claude is one click and perfectly fine. Use reshare when the page needs to look like yours: a client report, a team dashboard, anything where "claude.ai" in the address bar sets the wrong tone, or where you will want to update or retract it later.
The connected workflow
A support lead asks Claude to draft an HTML status report for a customer. With the reshare connector added, the next message is "publish this and give me the link." Claude uploads it and replies with the URL. Fixing a number the next day is the same sentence again; the link does not change.
Setup is once per account: Claude settings, Connectors, add custom connector, paste https://mcp.reshare.one/mcp, approve with Google.
Updating a published artifact
Every reshare link keeps version history. Ask Claude to revise the artifact, publish again to the same upload, and the old versions stay restorable from your dashboard.
