Why reshare
One link, always current
Update the file or rename the link anytime. The same URL always shows the latest version.
Live dashboards from your database
Connect Supabase and a link shows live data from your database, free to use. It stays secure: reshare only ever reads what a dashboard needs to display, and never writes.
Version history
Every update is saved. Restore any earlier version in one click.
Opens in the browser
PDFs, pages, and images open instantly. Nothing to download.
Password protection
Lock any link with a generated password. The file is encrypted, and only people with the password can open it.
Custom link previews
Choose the image that shows when you share a link in chat or social.
Your own subdomain
Claim an address like portfolio.reshare.one and your file serves right there. Free, no DNS, no setup.
See who opened it
Every open shows the device, city, and where the visitor came from. Counted on the server, nothing added to your file.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I share a file as a link?
- Drop your file on reshare and sign in with Google. You instantly get a short link like link.reshare.one/aB3xY9 that opens right in the browser, ready to copy and send. Or let your AI do it: connect the reshare connector and Claude, Claude Code, or Codex uploads the file for you when you say "Host on Reshare". Upload a new version anytime and the same link shows it. One file per link, up to 50 MB.
- What types of files can I share?
- HTML pages, PDFs, Word documents (.doc, .docx, .rtf, .odt, .txt, .md), slide decks (.ppt, .pptx), spreadsheets (.xls, .xlsx, .csv), images (PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, WebP), videos (MP4, MOV, WebM), and audio (MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG). Each one becomes a link that opens directly in the browser, up to 50 MB. A .docx renders as a formatted document, a .pptx as slides, a .xlsx as a table, and an .mp3 in an audio player, so the person you send it to needs no Office and no account.
- Can I host a website ChatGPT or Claude made?
- Yes. If an AI tool generates an HTML page for you, save it as an .html file and upload it to reshare. You instantly get a link to the live page that anyone can open, no setup or hosting account needed.
- Can I use reshare inside Claude or Codex?
- Yes. reshare connects to AI assistants that support connectors, including Claude and Codex. Connect it once, then ask your assistant to publish a report, page, or document and it comes back as a shareable link you can send to anyone, without leaving the chat.
- Can I show live data from my Supabase database?
- Yes, and securely. Connect your Supabase project and a page can show live data from your database. Your AI assistant can build it for you, or you can build it yourself. It runs on the server and stays read-only, so reshare never writes to your database and viewers only ever see the numbers, nothing about your data underneath. Every account includes one live dashboard for free, and Pro makes it unlimited.
- Can I update a file after I share it?
- Yes. Upload a new version anytime and the link keeps serving the latest file, so you never have to send a new link.
- Will the link change when I update the file?
- No. The link stays exactly the same. Only the content behind it updates.
- Can I go back to a previous version?
- Yes. reshare keeps your full version history, and you can restore any earlier version in one click.
- Can my link have its own subdomain?
- Yes. Claim a name like portfolio.reshare.one on any of your links and the file serves right at that address, with HTTPS and no setup. Every account includes one free subdomain, and your regular link keeps working.
- Can I password-protect a shared link?
- Yes. Turn on password protection and reshare generates a strong password, encrypts your file with it, and shows the password to you once. Viewers enter it to open the link, and you can turn protection off later from the file settings.
- Can I share a file with only specific people?
- Yes, on Pro. Open the file settings, choose "only specific people," and add the email addresses that should see it. Link viewers authenticate with Google to verify access, so only the people you add can open it. You can change who has access anytime and the link stays the same.
- Can I see who opened my link?
- Yes. Every open is counted on the server and shown next to the link in your dashboard. Click the count and you see each visit: the device and browser, the city, where the visitor came from, and when. Nothing is added to your file, and viewer IP addresses are never stored.
- Is reshare free?
- Yes, reshare is free to use.
- Do I need an account to open a shared link?
- No. Anyone you share a link with can open it without an account.
